A little more on culture curation and socials.

With the Fairlane Hotel, beyond content had the opportunity to create a brand narrative and define a voice, tone, and aesthetic before the property existed. Privately, we were able to build a brand book defining the culture and spirit of hotel for internal and vendor distribution. Publicly, we were able to share the Fairlane vision through an artfully curated Instagram account reflecting pre-opening brand and interior inspiration.

When the property was complete, we executed the vision in realtime; debuting finalized assets, actualizing lifestyle and property photography, food and beverage outlet photography, actively pursuing an online following and building overall anticipation. Beyond Content hosted Asher Moss (@basementfox) for editorial photography, Daniel Ellsworth and the Great Lakes and Danielle Maltby for music video filming, and Tournament Studios for supplementary creative support. Additionally, post-opening strategy resulted in influencer management and engagement, event execution, and press/media hosting and coordination.

Culture Creation & Strategic Partnerships

A 93 room hotel with food & beverage outlets yet to open; Beyond Content was tasked on programming a cultures seeking audience through events, marketing, local artist seasonal playlist, local art curation, and strategic partnerships. Media and social aspects of this project included photo and video media highlighting the hotel’s interior and exterior design, social media strategy, online community management, influencer engagement, and on-property activation. This included ideation and opening events strategy.

This includes the FiedlDaze production and marketing. A consistent 3 Month FREE Sunday Art Show. Live Music. Makers Market 6 Hour Party Social Experience with 250+ monthly attendees. RESULTS
Produced over 30 art installations including entrance facades to main VIP tents, metal geometric landscape sculptures, hand painted massive format photos of Bonnaroo life, Bonnaroo "Words to Live By" word collage wall that was used as the main photo backdrop in VIP, custom tables and of course the main attraction, the VIP MAIN ENTRANCE LIGHT PORTAL TUNNEL. 

Thousands of Bonnarooer's interacted with our installations and the festival decided to keep everything for next year.

PHILADELPHIA EAGLES "FLIGHT NIGHT"

Each year the Philadelphia Eagles celebrate their fans with the annual “Flight Night”.  To build a multimedia experience that would celebrate the fans, team and the city of Philadelphia, the Eagles looked to incorporate a new design and feel to increase the excitement for the upcoming season.

To achieve this goal we looked at implementing a variety of new show effects features including high powered laser graphics projected on the field, pyrotechnics and video content.  All elements of this show were created to seamlessly run of time-code creating a high energy atmosphere in the stadium.

Following the success of Flight Night, the Eagles looked to increase their game day atmosphere by creating a new and exciting team introduction that would pump up the team as well as the fans.  Implementing branded signage, lasers, pyrotechnics and cryogenic effects we have created a new team introduction that helps give the Eagles a home team advantage!

SEA-DOO X DEADMAU5 PRODUCT LAUNCH

THE CONCEPT

For the launch of Sea-Doo’s newest fun machine, the Spark, we helped launch, along with our friends Street Attack a full blown takeover on the streets and beaches of Miami. For a week leading up to the Deadmau5 concert and launch party, Street Attack brought on some of the world’s top graffiti artists to transform 2 high traffic walls in the infamous Wynwood Arts district to bring awareness to the Spark Some Fun campaign. We tagged trucks and Sparks zipped through the streets in wrapped Fiats. We also swarmed the beaches & bays of Miami with Deadmau5 head riders, to spark some curiosity & interest in the launch. Light projections were also placed in high traffic areas surrounding large events. The hashtag #sparksomefun was activated at the beginning of the campaign and was a huge success with thousands of photos, tags, and tweets being sent about the campaign. 

RESULTS

The design of the campaign tactics combined with our ability to gain access to high-priority targets enabled the campaign’s diversity. This resulted in multiple touch points for brand messaging and strengthening overall results by living simultaneously online and offline in multiple venues, neighborhoods and districts.
Street Attack has mastered the ability to execute multi-tiered integrated campaigns on tight timelines and with limited budgets and this case was no exception. 

The Murals and Mural Installation Events were featured in the exclusive Wynwood Map blog and social media

Direct posts on social media by influencers such as DabsMyla and GregMike.

Yelawolf Multi-City Launch Events

3 CITIES // 1 WEEK

Yelawolf and Interscope Records reached out to us to produce a series of album release events and media buys for Yelawolfs new album “Love Story” 

With Wolf, we conceptualized, produced and executed secret warehouse parties in NYC, LA and Nashville over a 1 week timeframe for over 600+ lucky fans, to experience an exclusive opportunity to hang with Wolf in an intimate venue setting. We took raw spaces and created Yelawolf’s Gothic Southern Americana world. The events had a live performance from Wolf’s new album featuring Bones Owens on guitar, Klever on the turntables, surprise guests and were followed by a listening party of the entire album. 

With surprises that ranged from Travis Barker playing drums unannounced, to other legendary musicians making cameos, the Love Story parties were a solid hit with top influencers, music industry moguls, media and fans alike. Yelawolf’s album hit #3 on Billboards Top 200 in it’s 1st week! 

 Proud to be a part of Yelawolf’s work and his story. We also love to throw a good party.

Concept:

The Baltimore Harbor has been a longtime destination location during the Summer’s in Maryland, but during the Winter businesses and city attractions saw a dramatic decrease in visitors.  To address this issue, local business owners along with the support of the City of Baltimore wanted to create an attraction that would bring families back down to the Harbor and boost the economy during the holiday season.

Dubbed as “Baltimore’s Bellagio” by local news broadcasts, The Power Plant Holiday Light Spectacular transformed one the city’s oldest and most iconic buildings into a 32,000 square foot canvas of 3D video motion graphics, multi-colored laser effects and choreographed pyrotechnics. The Holiday Light Spectacular helped Baltimore be named by Yahoo Travel as one of the Top 10 Destination cities for holiday lights, an estimated 40,000 new visitors to the Harbor and millions of social media impressions.

 

NORDIC COOL (SCANDINAVIAN MULTICULTURAL FESTIVAL)

CONCEPT:

After 18 months of planning, The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington D.C. became the host for the Scandinavian multicultural festival, known as Nordic Cool 2013 (insert link). The festival was scheduled to run for 32 days and highlighted the many facets of Scandinavian culture, such as visual art, music, and performance. The festival designers were in search of an artistic display that would change the appearance of the Kennedy Center’s façade during the nighttime hours of the festival. To facilitate the design, the Kennedy Center’s Department of International Events commissioned Danish lighting designer Jesper Kongshaug to design a nightly display.

In order to realize his vision of a Nordic Sky, Jesper and the Kennedy Center looked to us as a partner to design and develop an integrated event system that could produce a seamlessly timed light and audio show.  Utilizing a combination of high powered lasers the Nordic Sky was brought to Washington DC, creating a beautiful light show on the 2500 foot façade of the Kennedy Center for 32 continuous nights.

The show was viewed by thousands of visitors, and was reported on by both local and national news outlets, including the cover page of the Washington Post (picture below press)

We are very thankful for the outcome, and the amazing fire and rescue teams that saved our home and community.
